"Gu Lang Yue Xing", in this poem, Li Bai insinuated that An Lushan was monopolizing power and causing chaos in the country, and the country was already in ruins and forgetfulness.
Original text appreciation:
When I was young and did not recognize the moon, I called it a white jade plate.
I also suspected that the Yao Tai Mirror was flying in the blue clouds.
The immortal has his legs hanging down, and the osmanthus tree is not round.
The white rabbit pounded the medicine and asked who he wanted to eat with?
The toad erodes its round shadow, and the bright night is gone.
Yi fell into the Nine Crows in the past, and the heavens and humans were clear and peaceful.
The Yin essence has fallen into confusion, and it is not enough to understand it.
How are you worried? The sadness is heartbreaking.
This poem should be written before the Anshi Rebellion in the last years of Emperor Xuanzong Tianbao's reign in the Tang Dynasty.
Chen Hang, one of the seven great masters of ancient Fu in the Qing Dynasty, who was called the "Wen Zong of the Generation" by Wei Yuan, said: "It was written when the generals in Lushan rebelled." ("Shi Bi Xing Jian") Xiao Shiyun said: "According to this poem, the moon is used to attract interest. The sun is the image of the king; the moon is the image of the ministers. It was written for the rebellion of Anlu Mountain, and it was written as a sign of the imperial concubine." It means: Li Bai wrote this poem when Anlu Mountain was about to rebel. At this time, the moon is used to compare the ministers and the sun is used to compare the emperor in the poem. The moon rises and the sun declines in the poem. This is Li Bai showing to the world that the powerful minister An Lushan will rebel.
