What is Yichang's three take-offs?

Yichang, located in the west of Hubei Province, at the junction of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River, is an important transportation hub city in China. The Eleventh Five-Year Plan for the Development of Modern Logistics Industry in Hubei Province shows that Yichang is located at the junction of the central logistics zone centered on Wuhan and Zhengzhou and the southwest logistics zone centered on Chongqing, Chengdu and Nanning, and at the intersection of the Yangtze River logistics channel, the north-south logistics channel and the coal logistics channel in the central region, which undertakes the heavy responsibility of material transshipment in southwest, south-central and east China, and occupies a very prominent position in the national logistics regional layout and channel planning. Yichang is the east gate of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River, which has a good location advantage in building a regional circulation center.

In the past five years, Yichang has started construction of more than 500 major projects with an investment of 50 million yuan, including 85 with an investment of 654.38+0 billion yuan and 5 with an investment exceeding10 billion yuan. Yichang's industrial level is developing to the high end. At the same time of the transformation and development of traditional industries, strategic emerging industries such as biology, new materials, electronic information, new energy and environmental protection technology have accelerated development, which has brought unlimited potential for the development of Yichang logistics industry.

The vitality of the economy lies in liquidity. Modern logistics industry is a cross-industry, cross-departmental and cross-regional basic industry, which has great economic penetration and linkage effect. Logistics industry can greatly reduce the cost accounting for 30%-50% of the total value of goods and become a new profit source for modern economic growth. "Consolidate and strengthen the status of the sub-central city in the province, the core city of the eco-cultural tourism circle in western Hubei, and the central city of Yijing-Jingxing urban agglomeration, and build it into a regional central city in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River and a world famous hydropower tourism city." This is a strategic plan put forward by the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government for Yichang. It is a rare opportunity for Yichang to take off for the third time in history, and it also provides a rare policy opportunity for Yichang to build a regional shipping logistics center of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and develop port logistics.
