what do you reckon ?

Luo Yin in Tang Dynasty

What did Chang 'an do? The traveler's soul is pitiful and suspicious.

There is no return to Sichuan and the world of mortals has tears.

Carving should only be done by craftsmen, which will eventually lead to mistakes in Qin medicine.

You are 70 years old and 30 years old, and you will never know.

Original translation:

What do you want to do in Chang 'an? I wonder if my soul is poor.

When Zhang Bi was homeless in Sichuan, there were tears on the bed of mortals.

Carving can only be done by craftsmen, who are always worried that Dr. Qin will be abused.

Seventy-year-old floating life is now thirty, and I don't even know from this desolation.

On the Translation of Luo Yin Thought;

I am haggard and depressed. What can I do to stay in Chang 'an? It really makes people doubt that I am doomed to be down and out. The tall and green Zhong Nanshan stands in front of me, and I want to return to the sunshine; I lay in a bed that hasn't been dusted for a long time, tears streaming down my face.

I hope that skilled craftsmen can carve my jade materials (I hope that knowledgeable examiners can cultivate and improve themselves); I'm afraid I'm terminally ill, and even highly skilled Qin doctors can do nothing about it. Life is only seventy years, and I have reached thirty. From then on, my life is miserable and my future is bleak.

Luo Yin s literary creation;

Luo Yin's poems can be divided into four categories according to the theme: poems about epic, poems about giving answers, poems about traveling and poems about objects. The genre forms are mainly seven-character metrical poems and seven-character quatrains, while the number of five-character metrical poems, five-character quatrains and Yuefu poems is small, with low literary value. Among them, the seven-character poems and seven-character quatrains that have the greatest influence on later generations are those that chant history and meditate on the past.

Among Luo Yin's poems, most critics appreciate his sad and indifferent poems about history and nostalgia. Luo Yin's epic poems inherited the tradition of Zuo Si's epic poems, satirized the present with the help of ancient times, and skillfully overturned the verdict, which was unique among many mediocre epic poems in the late Tang Dynasty.

In the Yuan Dynasty, the third volume of Ying Sui and Seventeen Words of Nostalgia included 78 ancient poems by Tang and Song poets, of which Luo Yin alone accounted for eight, showing that his artistic achievements in chanting historical poems were valued by later generations.
