Poems (short stories) related to Britain

London

William Blake

I walk on every licensed street,

Near where the chartered Thames flows,

Mark every face I meet,

A sign of weakness, a sign of sadness

In everyone's every cry,

In every baby's cry of fear,

In every voice, in every ban,

What I hear is the shackles forged by the mind:

The chimney sweeper is crying.

Every blackened church is frightening,

And the sigh of the hapless soldier

Flowing on the walls of the palace.

But most of the time, in the street at midnight, I heard

The curse of young prostitutes

Blow up the tears of the newborn baby,

Destroy the wedding car with plague.

black

Translated by Wang Zuoliang

I walked through every exclusive street,

On the exclusive Thames,

I see every passerby.

Have a weak and painful face.

Every cry of everyone,

Every child is afraid of howling,

Every word, every injunction,

There is a ring of shackles cast by the heart.

How many children cry when they sweep away smoke and meat,

Shocked every blackened church;

The sigh of the unfortunate soldier

Like blood flowing down the palace wall.

I am most afraid of going shopping in the middle of the night.

Listen to the curse of young prostitutes again!

It frightened the newborn baby's tears,

It also brought gangrene and turned the wedding car into a pivot.

William Wordsworth

Milton. You should live at this time:

England needs you. She's a swamp.

Dead water: altar, sword and pen,

Heroic wealth of firesides, halls and pavilions,

Has lost their ancient English dowry

Inner happiness. We are selfish people;

Oh! Lift us up and come back to us;

Give us courtesy, virtue, freedom and strength.

Your soul is like a star, living outside;

Your voice is like the sea;

As pure, solemn and free as the naked sky,

So you travel on the ordinary road of life,

In pleasant piety; But your heart

The lowest responsibility really falls on her.

William wordsworth's Poetry/Li Li's Translation

Milton. You should live in the present:

England needs you, a backwater.

Swamp: altar, sword, pen,

Fireside, endless halls and pavilions,

Has lost the pursuit of the ancient British.

A blessing of inner happiness. We are selfish human beings;

Oh! Lift us up and come back to us;

Give us courtesy, virtue, freedom and strength.

Your soul is like a distant star;

Your voice is as powerful as the sea;

Pure as the bare sky, solemn and unrestrained,

You are also in the aisle of life.

Trekking happily and devoutly; however

You can also devote yourself to trivial things.

There are many more. Haizi also wrote.

Marx and Wittgenstein

Two people came to London.

Tandem, came to this foggy place.

Shimashima

A magnificent man, a simple man.

The same revolution and radicalism

The same life is poor.

But also with a destructive smile.

Inner nothingness

Inner poverty

Sell your life with money and words.

This is not everything to mankind!

Stone, stone, sell stone to buy stone

Sell stones with stones.

Sold stones. Stones.

Stone or Stone, Man or Man's Blindness —— People hiding in the valley to study criminal law for Wittgenstein

This man disturbed the language itself.

Forgive prisoners and gardeners.

Disturbed the pattern of grass

The man hid in the valley.

Study crime and criminal law

The man moved barrels on the cold grassland.

Men lead camels, imitating the silent gardener.

That man chews straw like an animal.

That person seems to be the hunger and thirst of language itself.

Eager father

Marry a complete mother

Be pregnant in a tribe

Get pregnant in a bar

Get pregnant on a fishing boat

The thin philosopher in the hut mused on his eager father.

How annoyed I am.

The eager father begged the house to have complete doors and windows.

Our lecherous father is so kind to us, which makes us very angry.

A philosopher with a spear.

Is a naked person)

It's my nakedness.

Riding a group of green horses

Hunger and crime flocked to language in time.

The man hid in the valley to study criminal law.
