Our composition Xiao He.

one

About1April, 985, Li Dongping, the director of the propaganda department of the factory, organized a group magazine, Yarn-dyed Youth. Duan Yibin, who lives in 40 1 with Li Dongping, came to our 407, spoke with a Changzhi accent, and told me endlessly about the general situation of this league magazine. By the way, Li Dongping asked him to invite me to the draft.

At that time, our new worker, No.200, had just entered the yarn-dyed factory for one year. I usually like to write small print, which is known to our administration department and the whole factory. This is probably why someone asked me for a manuscript. At that time, several young people of the same age who worked with me in the canteen all liked literature a little. Among them, Jia Wenhua and Zhi Zeping have good literary skills. After reading many classic literary masterpieces, Zhang wrote a good hand, and our class kept talking about literary topics. As can be seen from the diary I kept in those years, Jia Wenhua and Zhi Zeping came to our dormitory after work on the afternoon of April 26th, and together with several other friends, they spoke freely about the publication of Yarn-dyed Youth. Some people said, "Why don't we run a newspaper?" . Everyone thinks things are fine, but running a newspaper is no joke after all, and it will go away that night.

On the morning of the 27th, the next day, I had a heated discussion with eight people, including Jia Wenhua, Zhi Zeping, Zhang Xiangqi, Jaco, Han Xiaoming, Zhang Zhihong and Zhao Shaoyong. They agreed that the factory youth league Committee should run newspapers and we should run magazines. It was agreed to set up a youth literature group in the canteen and run a literary publication in the name of the literature group. The title of the publication was soon finalized, meaning "Xiao He is showing his horns". As a result, intense and orderly work began. On the 28th, the purpose was further clarified, the division of labor was made, relevant reports were made and manuscripts were issued. On the morning of 29th, this report was sent to Zhang Ruixiang, the leader of the canteen, who handed it over to the leaders of the administration department for instructions. Before the handover on the morning of the 30th, the report was sent to the Youth League Committee of the factory. At noon that day, I was praised and encouraged by the leaders of the administrative department. Subsequently, with the approval of the Youth League Committee of the factory, a literary and art group was established, and the literary and art publication Xiaohe was mimeographed. We initially decided to publish it on May 5th as a gift for Youth Day.

In the next few days, I entered a state of rapid tension, and I was too lazy to go home during the May Day holiday. At that time, running a publication was purely inexperienced, because Jaco wrote a good hand, so he carved wax boards; Zhizeping is good at outreach, so he negotiated with the printing room of the factory about mimeograph. I am careful, so I am responsible for drafting, revising and proofreading, and assisting Jaco to carve articles on wax boards. Jia Wenhua is solely responsible for checking the missing addendum; Several other people also actively entered the state, mobilized authors, collected manuscripts and completed their own manuscripts. ...

Now that I think about it, the Jaco issue is a huge effort. In those three days, except for eating and going to the toilet, the rest of the time was spent carving wax boards, and he had to carve every word, not to mention that he had no experience in this field before and the time was so tight. On May 4th, we were busy until two o'clock in the middle of the night, and all the carvings were finished. Looking at the deep pen mark left on the index finger of his right hand, Jaco shouted: This business is not for individuals.

The next day, we printed the inaugural issue in the printing room of the factory, with more than 50 copies. At that time, it was still manual drum printing. Because it is the first time to use this thing, I am not skilled, and the printed color is either too dark or too light. After repeated practice, I finally got the hang of it, and I can read the printed content clearly.

When we distributed the first issue of "Little River" with ink fragrance to all departments and workshops in the factory, our joy and excitement were beyond words. Factory leaders, department leaders, and front-line workers all gave us a favorable look. This is very satisfying, and it is worthwhile to pay a little more.

Looking through the catalogue of this issue, we can see that in addition to the "introduction", "opening message" and "congratulatory message" of the Youth League Committee, there are also literary forums, essays, poems, novels, reflections, satire and humor. In addition, "Basic Knowledge of Literature" and "Examination Questions of Modern Literature" were selected and published on the last page of the publication. This is the original intention of our column.

The "preface" of this issue reads as follows:

Xiao He came out.

She was born shortly after the publication of Yarn-dyed Youth, which coincided with the continuous reform of our factory. If she can be welcomed by young friends, we will be very happy.

She works hard to enliven the cultural life of young workers in our factory, guide young people to be positive and provide creative gardens for many literary lovers; She strives for her own space with novelty and uniqueness.

Her greatest and most striking features are: resisting all non-literary works, such as absurd martial arts, legends, novels and vulgar children's affairs; She will resolutely compete with "street literature" for position.

As a small lotus flower, she is really a veritable "sharp corner", which needs more people to care and cultivate in order to make it bloom brilliantly.

Since the second issue, in addition to literary works in the conventional sense, combined with the actual situation in the factory, we have successively launched some reportage, and made timely, effective and passionate reports and publicity on advanced figures emerging at all levels in the factory, such as Hou Cunhe, the outstanding figure in literary creation, Yang Fenlian, director of the preparatory workshop, and Liu Huiying, director of the kindergarten, which has been affirmed and strongly supported by the factory.

In order to reduce Mina's burden, in the following issues, I consciously found several workmates, such as Zhao Fengyi, Guo Chunrong and He Ji. Everyone volunteered to help in their spare time, stayed up late, and paid hard work that ordinary people didn't know. I still clearly remember working hard with them day and night. In fact, behind each issue, there are many people who are silently giving and supporting. Such as Xing Renrang, director of the County Cultural Bureau, Zeng, chairman of the County Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Liu Taisheng, Zhai Yulin, Zhang Zhiwei, Daming Chen, etc. Enthusiastic about cover design and text inscription illustrations, it is the sincere dedication of countless people, so that the first issue of the publication came out as scheduled and won the recognition and praise of employees and people outside the factory.

At that time, the climate was very good, and the literary atmosphere was all over Dingxiang town. A yarn-dyed factory with more than 2000 people has two mimeographed publications, Yarn-dyed Youth and River. The county cultural center has a paper publication Dingxiang Literature and Art, a street edition of Mumahe and a mimeographed publication Cradle. The county radio station has "Radio New Voice"; Coupled with the "bud" of the county Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Dingxiang's literary atmosphere is full of vitality and prosperity. At that time, there were many literary lectures led by the county Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Cultural Center. Many writers from outside the province came, and we also attended the meeting when we had the opportunity. Corey in the factory also gave us very favorable conditions, allowing us to take time off to participate in activities. It is in that wave after wave of activities that we got to know writers, poets and editors at all levels inside and outside the province and gained beneficial literary nourishment. Such as Haoran, Liu Shaotang, Li Yingru, Zhang Shishan, Han Shishan, Li Rui, Yan Zhiguo, Zhou Zongqi and Yun Ke Road, as well as Yang Maolin, Li Wentian, Hao Cunlou, Zhang Yuliang and Pengtu in the city, and so on. In addition, Zeng, Xing Renrang, Gao, Pan Jianli, Hou Cunhe, Zhai Yulin and other teachers in the county were hired as literary consultants to comment on the works of previous issues in publications, which played a very good role in promoting.

In years of contact and interaction, we not only went out and actively participated in various activities, but also invited teachers from the county Federation of Literary and Art Circles, cultural centers and radio stations to give guidance and lectures in our factory, which greatly mobilized the creative enthusiasm of the members of the literary society and greatly stimulated the improvement of everyone's literary works. The novels, essays, poems, reportage and humorous jokes of members of the literary society Jia Wenhua, Zhao Xiulian, Duan Yibin and Zhao Zhifeng were published in the Literary Federation magazine Germination, Dingxiang Literature and Art in the Cultural Center, Cradle, Mumahe in the street newspaper and New Voice in the Radio Station, and held in the Cultural Center. On the other hand, it has also formed a benign promotion and spur for all members.

1 1985 in mid-October, we held a one-month literary essay contest in view of the reform of our factory. In the end, two young workers who entered the factory won the first and second prizes, namely Cui Zhongwei's The First Lie and Guo Guangming's Insomnia of Li Laohan. The newcomer appeared, but the lens was extraordinary and eye-catching. With the financial support of our superiors, we bought relevant literature books and dictionaries and rewarded them. The first issue of Xiao He was published in 1986, which attracted readers' attention and praise.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/986, we received the poem "Song of Homecoming" written by Song Guoyin who had entered the military camp. We were moved by the author's investment in yarn-dyed mills and Xiaohe, and published it in the second issue of this year. Although people are far away from Qian Shan, their feelings are sincere and touching. We believe that readers will get a * * * after reading it.

1988 1 month, we launched the ninth issue of Xiao He, which is a bound edition of 1987. Among them, Mr. Pei Jinlong, then the county magistrate of Dingxiang County, commented on "How the Author Shapes the Image of Su Hua" and left a deep impression on readers.

It is precisely because of the persistent pursuit of literature that the association has made a success in running magazines. When I entered the factory, I never thought that in the first year, such things would come into our lives and affect the whole factory and even the whole county. We young people, who were enthusiastic young people in their twenties at that time, thought things were relatively simple and things were simple. Coupled with the influence of the climate, our idea soon became a reality and won unanimous praise from the factory and society.

In order to ensure the publishing quality, after five issues, we changed from January issue to March issue and May issue. That is to say, the sixth and seventh issues were published at the beginning of February 1985 and at the end of February 1986 respectively. Then at the end of July of 1986, the eighth issue was issued.

1986 drawing to a close, eight young people who walked into the canteen together left the canteen, or entered the workshop, or left the factory to make a living, and took up different jobs respectively. With the passage of time, the members of the literary society have great mobility and changed in all aspects. I also suffered a hand injury in March 1987, so the activities of the literary society were unsustainable and Xiao He could not continue to publish. It was not until the end of 1987 that the ninth issue, that is, the bound edition of 1987, was published on 1988 1. This is also the last issue of our Xiao He. After this period, Xiaohe Literature Society ceased to exist, with no personnel, activities and publications. When I sent this bound book and reported the news to every teacher in the county who had been concerned about Xiao He, they rubbed the publication with ink, all of them sighed and sighed, and some even punched each other: What a pity!

The first draft of Xiao He, which lasted more than two years and nine issues, was generally completed by everyone, and I was responsible for the specific editing and proofreading, and then I stared at the wax version of the work. In this process, I became familiar with the basic process of making publications and exercised my basic quality and level of making publications. I am serious and inflexible, and I have let the engravers complain many times. It is for this reason that when the factory was depressed, when I came to an advertising company in Xinzhou in the spring of 2002 to be responsible for making a newspaper, although the Buddhist Travel Newspaper was different from the mimeographed literary publication, I felt very kind and familiar. Things in the world are so wonderful. When you did this a few years ago, you had no idea that you would enjoy the real benefits of "building bridges and roads" in a few years. If there is no organic connection between things, it really makes people feel a lot. You will learn something inadvertently; Some things will inadvertently help you successfully embark on a certain journey in life. It is useful to accumulate some experience at any time.

In the summer of 20xx, in the spring of 20xx, when I was lucky enough to get together with several colleagues of Xiao He who lived together day and night 30 years ago, everyone recalled the young time when passion was burning. We looked at each other, smiled and sighed that life has added infinite vicissitudes to people, and we couldn't help finding that once familiar expression on each other's faces. Although they are all in their fifties, everyone is as close as before. The change of time has not made these people have a psychological distance. In our countless narratives, those youthful days have been thinking and seeking novelty, which lasted for a long time in Micari.

Yes, Xiao He has become history; Xiao He will live in our hearts forever.
