1. Liangliang-refers to plantain and begonia. Last time Baoyu said, "There are red and green plants here. If you only talk about bananas, there will be no landing; You just say don, and bananas are nowhere to be found. Inherent bananas are indispensable, and no bananas are more important. " So it's all fourfold, double-starting and double-receiving, with "red" and "green" hidden in the middle. Chanjuan, beautiful in appearance, refers to bananas and soup.
2. The sentence of "green wax"-banana leaves are still rolled, but they are not displayed in spring. Green wax and green candle, this metaphor is also a banana with leaves. It is said in the novel that the first word written on Baoyu's draft paper is "green jade". Baochai read it and said that the noble didn't like the word and taught him to change it. He also said, "Have you forgotten the first sentence in the Tang Dynasty's poem about plantain,' cold candle, smokeless green wax'?" Is Translation from Chinese to English a clerical error or a mistake? This poem was written by Xie Qian. The title of the poem is "Unforeseen Banana", which can be found in Ji Yougong's Chronicle of Tang Poetry (Volume 66), and The Complete Poems of Tang Poetry (Volume 26) contains a volume of his poems. The whole poem is: "Cold candle is smokeless and green wax is dry, and my heart is still afraid of spring cold." What is hidden in the sealed book? The east wind will see you. "Every sentence is a metaphor. It can be seen that the word "spring is still rolling" in this sentence is also based on this, and was originally conceived together with the word "green wax". The novel is interspersed with dialogues and points out the source, in order to let people know that "the spring is still rolling" means "my heart is still afraid of the cold". In this way, with the next sentence "Sleepless in Red Makeup", it is not simply to write about the scenery, but to write about people by flowers and trees, which implies the later life in Hongyi Garden.
