Taro in ancient taro poems.

More than two thousand years ago, there was a poem "Xiaoya" in The Book of Songs. In the Song Dynasty, Su Dongpo liked to eat the "Jade Liquid Soup" made of taro all his life, praising it as "fragrant as dragon saliva, but still white and purer as milk".

Lu You's poem "Closed House" said: "The leaves on the ground stove are dead, taro is stewed at night, and vegetables are watered in the morning and spring", praising the unique flavor of taro;

Herbal Medicine in Southern Yunnan also points out that taro can be used for dietotherapy, which can cure the deficiency of middle qi. Long-term use can nourish the liver and stomach, and add essence and beauty.
