Tagore and his representative works.

1, Tagore English Introduction:

Rabindranath Tagore is a famous poet, writer, artist and social activist. He was born in Kolkata, a city rich in philosophy and literature and art, Seoul (1861~1941). He created/kloc-0 with the skills of self-cultivation. I went to England to study literature and music, traveled around the world for more than ten years, had a lot of contacts with many world celebrities such as romain rolland and Einstein, and devoted my life to communicating the civilization and coordination between the East and the West. Rabindranath Tagore, a poet, wrote more than 50 poems such as Gitanjali, which is called Shi Sheng. He is also a famous novelist, playwright, composer and artist, and has finished 12 novels and 100 short stories.

2. Tagore's masterpiece:

(1) The main poetry collections are Story Poetry Collection (1900), Jitang Kerry (19 10) and Crescent Moon Collection (19 13).

(2) The important novels include the short stories "Paying off the Debt" (189 1), "Abandonment" (1893), "Suba" (1893) and "To Be or Not" (1. Four Chivalrous Men (19 16), shipwreck (1906), Gola (19 10), family and the world (1965438+).

(3) Important plays include Stubborn Fortress (19 1 1), Mokdotara (1925) and People's Red Oleander (1926);

(4) Important essays include DeathTrading (188 1), China Talk (1924) and Russian Letters (193 1).

3. Tagore (1861-1941) is a famous writer, poet and philosopher in modern India. He began to create literature when he was a teenager. During his creative career of more than half a century, he dabbled in poetry, novels, drama and other fields and made outstanding achievements. Among them, his poems can best reflect his style characteristics. Tagore is regarded as a "poet saint" in India and many countries in the world. 194 1 April, this prodigy, the founder of modern Indian literature, wrote his last words, the crisis of civilization. On August 7th of the same year, Tagore died in his ancestral home in Kolkata.
