I met a human.

Last night, I finished reading I met someone, which fascinated me. It's the first novel I've read that is a little sci-fi.

Matt Hagrid was suffering from depression when he wrote this book. He said that when I wrote this book, I felt like an alien in the book. "What I really wrote was the alienation of depression, how to overcome it and how to fall in love with the world again." This book also tells the story of an alien who once despised human beings and fell in love with them, and finally stayed on the earth.

A WeChat book club left me a message: "I met a human". What's so special about it? I thought it over for a few seconds. I think it's very different. I think everyone is curious about who I am when I see this title. Since it is not a person, is it an animal? It doesn't make sense. Humans and animals have existed for a long time. I am an alien.

From the perspective of aliens, this book expresses its views on human magazines, sex, clothes, coffee, news, mathematics, poetry, dogs, music, peanut butter, social networks, violence, the past, infidelity and so on in a very contemptuous tone. There are many subtitles in the novel, but these subtitles do not break the whole story, but develop a theme for each story, and each theme contains my experience and thinking about life.

The hero "I" is an alien from Vornado. How far is the planet Vornado from the earth? Suppose you put a grape and a grapefruit on the table in England. Grapes represent the earth, grapefruit represents the sun, and the planet Navado is on a table in New Zealand. The planet Vornado is a perfect world for human beings. There is no death or pain here. Everything is as beautiful as a dream. The only religion is mathematics. There is no family there. They only care about two things-the development of mathematics and the safety of the universe. No hatred, no father and son. There is no clear boundary between biological technology and technology, everything is violet.

To many people in Vilna, human beings are arrogant and greedy, and all they see is money and fame. They are violent and hypocritical. They don't care about mathematics itself, only about the benefits they can get from it. "I" was sent to the earth by the owner of the planet Vornado owned by mathematician Martin Andrew, and completed a mysterious task: destroying everything about the Riemann hypothesis and all the insiders.

After I destroyed all the evidence about "Riemann hypothesis" in mathematician Martin's computer and killed Daniel Russell, the only insider, I re-examined human beings, and I wanted to verify whether human beings were really hopeless. I began to try peanut butter, enjoy music, enjoy sex and enjoy the simple happiness of pet company. Gradually, "I" found that human beings not only have shortcomings, they care about each other, and friends, family and husband and wife are full of sincere love. For us little creatures, only with love can we bear the vast universe. "I" gradually understood love, prevented Martin's son greifer from committing suicide, gave up returning to his own planet, gave up eternal life, stayed on the earth, and killed another Werner sent by his master to protect Martin's wife and son. Finally, the alien "I" became a family with Martin's wife and son.

This book shines with the wisdom of mathematics, which makes us feel that mathematics is so beautiful that it can be used not only for calculation, but also for description. For example, "I am my own stranger. I have never seen such a night in my life. It is mysterious and bottomless. This is the cube of the night. " "I am a sinner. I once said something blasphemous in the quadratic equation museum. My crime is to defile the purity of mathematics. " "Prime number is very powerful, it does not depend on other things, it is pure and complete, and it will never weaken. You must be like a prime number and never be weak. "

At the end of the novel, the alien gave his son Gulliver 97 pieces of life advice as a "father". The reason why it is 97 is because 97 is the favorite prime number of aliens. These 97 life suggestions are shining with the brilliance of human wisdom, so wonderful that I want to recite every one. Such as: 1. Shame is a bondage. Let yourself go. Don't worry about your ability. You have the ability to love, that's enough. 3. Be friendly to others. From the perspective of the universe, others are you. 10. History is a branch of mathematics, and so is literature. Economy is a branch of religion. Sex will destroy love, but love will not destroy sex. 12. News headlines should be math, then poetry, and everything else is arranged later. 13. You shouldn't have been born, and your existence is almost impossible. Your existence means that nothing is impossible. To deny it is to deny yourself. 14. Your life has 25,000 days, so leave some unforgettable days. 19. Reading more poems, especially Emily Dickinson's poems, may save you. Anne sexton knows the heart, walt whitman knows Leaves of Grass, and Emily Dickinson knows 75. Politeness often equals fear, friendliness often equals courage, but caring makes you more human. The more you care, the more human you are. In your mind, change the name of every day to Saturday, and then change the name of work to play.

The last life guide A-Z is also full of philosophical thoughts, which is very interesting.

Beautiful? Humans can find beauty in sunsets, music, faces, canyons, wind power stations or anywhere. Beauty is just a reminder to make them realize that life is short.

Binary? For human beings, love is a binary system, which cannot accommodate three.

OEM? The process of attaching abstract concepts to products in order to sell them better. For example, selling facial cleanser with the concept of youth, selling beer with the concept of male friendship, selling literary works with the concept of high IQ and wide knowledge, and selling yourself successfully in interviews with the concept of extroversion and self-confidence.

Charity? A beneficial by-product of guilt.

One day? On earth, a day is quite a short time, but it is still enough to make you fall in love.

Debauchery? A behavior that stems from the love of happiness and no guilt.
