Lian Po, whose birth and death dates are unknown, was a famous general of Zhao State during the Warring States Period and a native of Kuxing (now Xingyi, Dingzhou City, Baoding). Ying's surname is Lian, and his name is Po. He was a famous general of Zhao State at the end of the Warring States Period. Together with Bai Qi, Wang Jian, and Li Mu, he was known as one of the "Four Famous Generals of the Warring States Period".

Lian Po was famous among the princes and countries for his bravery and courage. In the early stages of the Changping War, he successfully resisted the Qin army by standing firm. Nine years after the Battle of Changping, he repulsed the invasion of the Yan State, beheaded the Yan army's commander Li Fu, marched and surrounded the Yan capital in March, and ordered the opponent to cut five cities for peace, and was therefore appointed as the prime minister, writing a letter to Lord Ping. At the time of King Zhao Daoxiang, due to lack of ambition, he defected to Wei and Chu successively. He lived in Daliang when he went to Wei, and then died in Chu and was buried in Shouchun.
