A Brief Introduction to the Poetry Journal of Green Wind

"Green Wind" is the earliest poetry publication in China since the new period, and the first poetry publication that rose in the northwest in the history of western China.

The predecessor of Green Wind is Oasis Literature magazine, and Oasis originated from Shihezi Literature founded by Shihezi Cultural Center, which is an internal tabloid founded in 1977. 198 1 in June, Shihezi literature and art was changed to oasis bimonthly, sponsored by Shihezi Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and publicly issued at home and abroad. Green Wind, as the "publication in the journal" of Oasis (the publication in the journal began with Green Wind), published poetry works intensively. 1In September, 983, Shihezi Federation of Literary and Art Circles hosted the first Green Wind Poetry Festival, which was the largest poetry event in China since the founding of the People's Republic of China. At the strong request of the poets and poets attending the meeting, starting from the actual situation of Shihezi and Xinjiang literary circles, with the approval of the autonomous region and the competent department of the state, the oasis was officially changed to green wind from June 1984.

Green Wind has been published 146 since its predecessor, and its quality has been continuously improved and its influence has been gradually expanded. It has become one of the most important poetry publications in China, standing in the forefront of the poetry circle with Beijing Poetry magazine and Sichuan Star, and is called a far-reaching poetry publication in the national poetry circle by People's Daily and Economic Daily. With its high quality, large capacity, fine editing and American printing, Green Wind Poetry Journal has won many awards, such as "Xinjiang Excellent Periodical Award", "Xinjiang Excellent Social Science Periodical Award", "Editorial Quality Award" and "Excellent Article Editor Award". Editor-in-Chief Qu recently won the "Excellent Editor-in-Chief Award". "Green wind from the northwest, poetry into a thousand" (in Cang Kejia). Almost all the poets who are active in contemporary China poetry circles have published their works in the journal Green Wind, and a large number of young poets have set out for poetry circles. The "Western Poetry", which was once popular in China's poetry circles, was based on the blue wind. As the most important poetry magazine in China, Green Wind has made great contributions to the development and prosperity of China's new poetry since the new period.
