China's literary masterpieces, such as The Analects of Confucius, The Water Margin, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Tao Te Ching, Warring States Policy, Thirty-six Strategies, Historical Records, etc. Modern works such as Lu Xun's Scream, Qian Zhongshu's Fortress Besieged, Lu Yao's Ordinary World and Life, and some works by Lao She and Ba Jin; Modern writers prefer some works by Wang Xiaobo and Zhou Heyu.
