Which text in primary school Chinese is related to forest life?

In the primary school textbooks of the 1980s, there was a text called "The Master of the Big Forest", written by the former Soviet writer Nicholas S. Ustinovich, who came from Krasnoyarsk, the largest city in eastern Siberia. The Master of the Big Forest is his last article on working and living in the forest.

Excerpts from the article:

It rained for a whole week in autumn. Gray clouds are low on the big forest, and the wet wind is blowing slowly. The rain-soaked branches hung down. The river rose to the shore. The hunter and I rowed down the river. When the river narrowed, the ship suddenly hit a stump underwater and capsized. All the food and game were washed away, so we had to take shotguns ashore.

It's far from here. We are all covered in water, tired and hungry. Trembling with cold, I stared blankly at the hunter, hoping that he would find a way. The hunter remained silent and just twisted his clothes. "It should be on fire!" I suggested, but when I took the matchbox out of my pocket, I saw water coming out of it.
