Shen Zhifang's poem Give Time: Original Text and Appreciation

Give time

Shen Zhifang City, Taiwan Province Province

When I woke up

When young dreams are awakened at midnight

Chest-deep wind

There are flowers, snow and the moon.

wake up with a start

White hair, I heard that one of you.

The skin cracked again.

Life is a process, and time shows life. There is no life without time. It is in this sense that this poem written for time is actually written for life. It is to know and test the limited life of self from the perspective of time invariance, and to understand the meaning of time from the perspective of self-life.

Everyone can feel the existence and passage of time. Poets have a special way of perceiving time. There is no place to describe time in the poem, but there is no place that does not point to time. The most striking thing is that three consecutive "awakenings" have touched our nerves more than once. Maybe we never noticed that time passed by us and didn't realize that it took away our lives. When we suddenly woke up from the wind, flowers and snow, what surprised us even more was that we heard the sound of generate with white hair coming out. Poets express their feelings about the lost time, that is, the lost life, by ringing alarm bells for themselves and readers. Time is infinite and life is short. Once sensitive to this, a person who is responsible for himself can't help but have endless regrets and regrets. Although I had a young dream, I still feel that I woke up like a dream after the affair, and suddenly I feel that time is precious and heartless! Time waits for no one; If you wake up a day earlier, you may have less regrets, not to mention the pain when those who waste time and waste time suddenly wake up.

This poem, for those who cherish time, is to promote them to flourish; This is a wake-up call for those who waste their lives.
