Anna Akhmatova
Wesley Wang
I don't understand Xia Xiao at all.
I can't find the secret of winter,
But I can almost accurately
Observe three autumns every year.
The first one-as chaotic as a holiday,
Deliberately angered yesterday's summer,
Leaves flying, like fragments of a notebook,
Smoke smells like aromatic benzoin,
Everything looks wet, bright and colorful.
The birch forest takes the lead in dancing,
Put on transparent clothes,
Shake off short tears in a hurry,
Over the fence and sprinkled on the female neighbor.
But usually, the story has just begun,
One second, one minute.-So,
When the second autumn comes, peace is like conscience.
Darkness is like an air raid.
Everything became pale and terrible,
The comfort of summer is completely deprived,
The chorus of the golden trumpet in the distance
Floating in the thick mist.
The towering sky was submerged.
In the fragrant sacrifices and cold waves,
But suddenly the wind blew and everything opened up-
Everything became clear: a tragic curtain call,
But this is not the third autumn, but death.

Anna? Akhmatova (1889- 1966) is an important representative of poetry in the "silver age" and has the reputation of "the moon of Russian poetry". She is committed to conveying the secret contact and collision between her heart and the surrounding world, and her poetic language is delicate, concise, accurate and beautiful. His later works are more open and three-dimensional, full of the sense of the times and history in the writing of personal destiny, which embodies a solemn style of "lyric historicism", thus completing the transformation from "excellent" to "great" and ranking among the most outstanding masters of world poetry in the twentieth century.
