On the first day of the year, we invited my uncle's family and my second aunt's family to visit gaochun old street on the second day. But when I got up in the morning, I saw that it was drizzling outside. It was really bad weather! But it's not easy to change the plan, so we have to leave for Gaochun.
After driving for more than an hour, gaochun old street finally arrived. As soon as I entered, I saw gaochun old street written on the doorplate, and the first ancient street in Jinling was written on the back. I thought there were few people on rainy days, but there were quite a lot of people. Everyone is holding umbrellas, and the old street is full. From a distance, it looks like colorful flowers are blooming. What a beauty! I didn't expect it to rain. Don't smell like a sail. The buildings on both sides of the street are antique.
There are small shops with different characteristics on both sides of the street, including those selling toys, all kinds of tiger-headed shoes and all kinds of dry goods, including hairy tofu, stinky tofu, marshmallows and all kinds of snacks. We saw a shop full of people. We squeezed in and saw that it was originally selling hairy tofu. Dad said that hairy tofu had been on the tip of China's tongue! We quickly bought two boxes to try. It was really delicious. I finished it in three or two bites, and I asked my mother to buy two more boxes. While eating, we walked forward and saw an old man who pinched clay figurines. He Tianyi and I bought a clay figurine. Mine is a rabbit, and his is a the Monkey King. My rabbit has a pair of red eyes and snow-white hair. It is still eating carrots. It looks so cute! There are a few small flowers on both sides of it! It's so lifelike! I ran around happily with it. He Tianyi and I also bought a marshmallow. The marshmallow was so sweet that I couldn't eat it after eating half of it. He Tianyi ate all of it, and his face was covered with sugar.
after shopping for a while, it rained harder and harder, so we had to go back the same way. Along the way, I was still intoxicated with the antique charm and delicacy of the old street.
