How to choose cables?

One. The motor is three-phase.

1. If the horse arrives at the control room, only the motor line has no control line, and the motor is three-phase. Then a cable with a cable size of 3× 1.5+ 1× 1 is enough. Considering your long distance, the pressure drop will be relatively large. If cables are used, it is estimated that they are used for mobile or outdoor use. Considering the mechanical strength, it is recommended to use 3× 2.5+ 1× 1.5 cable. The mobile cable should be at least 1.5.

2. If there are control lines from the motor to the control room, for example, it is necessary to control the start and stop of the motor near the motor, it is necessary to add three additional control lines. You have to use 3×2.5+4× 1.5. I wonder if this cable is available? You can check the cable model.

Two. The motor is single-phase.

1. If there is no control line, select 3×6.

2. When there is a control line, choose 2×6+4× 1.5. Similarly, there may not be this line. So it is necessary to choose the cable with control line. If it is a pipe, you can use wires. Choose two cables, one is 3×6+ 1× 1.5. The other is 3× 1.5.

Of course, it depends on whether the single-phase motor has thermal protection components, and if so, two wires should be added.

By the way, the resistance of 6 square wires 1.5KM is 1 1.97 ohm. So the voltage drop at current 10A is 1 19.7V, which is too large. Can't use it. Choose another way.

Choose the resistance of 35 square meters as 0.83 1ω. At 10A, the voltage drop is 8V, and it can still be used.

Add one more thing:

I have never seen a 5KW single-phase motor. Generally, single-phase motors are below 2KW. I have seen a single-phase motor with a maximum of 2.2KW, so the motor you are talking about should be three-phase. But it should be said that using cables is a bit wasteful. If it is necessary to lay 1500m, it is suggested to use overhead lines, which may be cheaper. However, the price increase of cement and steel is not necessarily much cheaper than that of copper in cables. Haha, there's really nothing we can do. We still have to connect.
