Lonely and lost.
The survivors of the Southern Song Dynasty, especially the poets, all had a lonely and lost mentality, which was mainly reflected in the poets' creation and use of a large number of bleak and broken images in their poems. On the one hand, it is the resistance to the cruel and arrogant rulers of the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty and the exposure of their evil deeds and atrocities; on the other hand, it is also a portrayal of the horror and isolation of the living environment of the Southern Song Dynasty literati who survived the high-pressure rule of the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty.
