What's the difference between Chinese and foreign poetry?

This topic is very big, just answer it in a few words.

Personal opinion: there are differences in thought and rhythm.

Most China poets write poems for the ups and downs of their official career, while foreign poets are more authentic, and their observation of nature is different from that of China pastoral poets. Poetry after modernism is more intelligent and worth tasting.

In rhythm, foreign poetry is relatively free (in ancient times, they had sonnets and we had five words and seven languages). China's new poems also learned from the west, but they inherited the classical rhythm even worse.
