At that time, Singh did not have any overseas relations. Since his freshman year in college, Singh has studied and written a research paper by Cang Kejia, a famous poet in China, entitled Song of the Earth, with the subtitle "On Cang Kejia's Poems". The whole manuscript is 400,000 words, and more than 300,000 words have been written in three years. During the Cultural Revolution, a big fire burned to ashes.
During the Cultural Revolution, Singh did not intervene in factional struggles, but hid in the ivory tower to study Mao Zedong's poems. Together with several classmates, he compiled a book, Notes on Chairman Mao's Poems, and also studied Lu Xun's poems.
1967, Singh graduated from Huaqiao University. 1968, he was assigned to Baotou, Inner Mongolia, the largest arsenal in China, to engage in publicity and education. In an extremely harsh living and working environment, Ge devoted himself to writing, and completed the first draft of Translation of Chairman Mao's Classical Poetry into Free Poetry and Translation and Annotation of Lu Xun's Classical Poetry.
1973, Singh was transferred from Baotou to Zhangzhou, Fujian, and became a teacher in any middle school. Insist on writing after class and study the history of Sino-Japanese relations. During this period, I completed the first draft of A Brief History of Sino-Japanese Friendship, published poems and essays in provincial, local and municipal newspapers, and participated in the editing of literary and artistic journals in Longxi, Fujian, as well as the arrangement of traditional scripts of xiang opera in Zhangzhou. At the same time, I also began to try to write plays and novels. Ge Xinxing has a wide range of interests, including Chinese medicine, fortune telling, cooking and gardening.
1979 In September, for the future of our two children, our family settled in Hong Kong. Singer worked as a kitchen handyman, a restaurant waiter, a car delivery porter, a driller in a plastic factory, a computer circuit board assembler and so on. In order to survive, Ge Xinli used his expertise in studying Chinese medicine to become a quack. In my spare time, I opened a clinic in Victoria Park, Hong Kong. During this period, Singh wrote a lot of popular medical articles in Hong Kong newspapers and magazines. 1980 At the end of the year, Singh joined China Travel Agency as the public relations secretary. 1986 left China Travel Agency to set up Longtai Trading Company to engage in import and export trade. Since 1989, Singh has invested and built factories in China. In his business career, Singh never forgot to pay attention to literature and insisted on writing. He has published Medical Stories of Hong Kong People, A Brief History of Sino-Japanese Friendship, Lu Xun's Poetry Notes and Translation, Selected Singer's Business Letters, Mao Zedong's Poetry Notes and Translation, and Zhou Enlai's Poetry Notes and Analysis. 1992 immigrated to the United States.
Singer is currently the managing director of US-China Commercial Bridge Management and Investment Co., Ltd., managing director of Singer Business Consulting Center in the United States, general manager of Hong Kong Longtai Trading Company, director of Shanghai Friendship Association in Northern California, director of Shanghai Office of Shanghai Chamber of Commerce in Northern California, director and editor-in-chief of Voice of Honesty, honorary editor-in-chief of Confucian Merchants magazine and member of Hong Kong Writers Association. He also gave a lecture tour in Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Shanghai University and other universities on "Where is the Road-Talking about College Students' Entrepreneurship" and became an overseas teacher and scholar deeply respected by mainland students.
