This is a Yuefu poem. Ge Yanxing belongs to Yue Fu's Xiang He Ge Ping Diao Qu. "Yan" is a place name, and the Three Kingdoms period is the present Beijing area. This song is mostly used to write about the parting feelings of people or wandering women. This poem writes the bleak feeling of living alone in autumn night with the style of female thinking, and expresses the feelings of missing her husband in a foreign land.
