This ode to the Seven Rhythms of Chrysanthemum shows the cold-resistant character of Chrysanthemum and the author's love for Chrysanthemum.

The first couplet shows two pictures from a macro perspective: one is the Xiaosuo River on the map of autumn scenery, where the flowers are dying and the geese in the north are flying; A picture of chrysanthemums in full bloom at the edge of a hedge. In contrast, it highlights the infinite vitality of chrysanthemum.

The author's love for chrysanthemums has reached * * *. The sentence "Pan" means rowing and releasing a boat. If it is understood as taking a chrysanthemum boat after drinking, it seems to have little to do with the theme of chanting chrysanthemums. Can a poet's mind be so unfocused? It is doubtful. Let's guess: "West Wind" is an allusion. The Book of Jin Hanshu Zhangzhuan says: "When Han sees the autumn wind, he thinks of Wuzhong leek, Jingtang and perch, and says,' Life is expensive but you are not determined, why should you be proud of thousands of miles of officials!'" "Then I drove home." The west wind in this poem is the autumn wind. The poet praised the cold-resistant character of Chrysanthemum Frost, and the "cold branches" and "late festivals" seemed to saturate the poet's sense of life experience, but they seemed to be dissatisfied but pinned on Chrysanthemum. After drunkenness, the idea of showing off chrysanthemums and living in seclusion came into being. Perhaps this is the original intention of the poet to love chrysanthemums.
