The symphony suite My Motherland is divided into six parts.
The first movement: Vysehrad Chlad Adagio in E flat major, 3/4 beat.
Smetana: The sound of Lutes, an ancient bard, constitutes the introduction of the music, which reminds people of the grandeur and magnificence of Kyoto Castle, a Czech prince, the battles and wars among knights in and around this castle, and the fall and overthrow of this castle. Finally, Bud's singing sounded again, and the music ended in this tragic tone. There are cheerful bugles and drums, knights waving white blades to practice for winning battles, soldiers in groups of armor reflecting dazzling sunlight, and the whole Vishay Chlad vibrates with solemn carols and cheers for victory.
Vischer Chlad is the name of an ancient castle in Czech history. This is a magnificent castle, located in the south of Prague, on the east bank of vltava river. This city is the legendary location of the first royal palace in the Czech Republic, where the Bohemian king was crowned in the tenth century. . It symbolizes the history of the glorious struggle of the Czech people in ancient times. The content of this symphonic poem is embodied by an epic theme representing Visher Schrade, and the whole movement has the nature of commemoration and praise, just like the grand prelude of the whole suite. At the beginning of the music, the theme motivation is played by two harps, which is the image of a bard holding a plucked instrument. Then the theme is played with horn and woodwind instruments, and the timbre is fuller and thicker. The brave meaning of the theme is inserted between the trumpet and the timpani. Then the stringed instruments played the broad theme of Visher Cherard at a slow speed, and attracted a * * *, and the timbre became clearer and louder, and the fantasy described by the poet became a living reality-looking back on the past of the motherland made people feel excited and proud.
This basic theme describes the scene of ancient poets playing the harp and singing the historical legend of Vischer Cherard. This theme has gradually expanded through the performance of different combinations of various musical instruments, reaching a powerful force. Then the music depicts the fierce scenes of knight fighting and large-scale fighting in medieval castles. Use the motivation of a basic theme to form a quick fugue paragraph to express the content of this paragraph. The clear and safe features unique to the original theme disappeared, and the tone became an excited cry, followed by the sound of the bugle and the short and powerful sound of the band, depicting the scene of fighting and killing. Then a new broad and sincere theme with singing and pure Slavic style appeared, which was as peaceful and peaceful as a folk epic tune. Encouraged by the bugle ensemble and some excited shouts transformed from the theme of Visher Cherard, this lyric theme entered * * * and gradually developed into an ode to victory and triumph. Then the music gradually quieted down and the clarinet played a lyrical melody, indicating the end of the story. People only know that this castle existed in ancient times, but they don't know when it was destroyed. Above the ruins, only some echoes of Bud's piano can be heard, which have long since disappeared. Finally, the solemn theme of Vischel Chlad reappeared and gradually weakened, ending with the sound of the harp.
Second Movement: Allegro for vltava river in E minor, 6/8 beats.
Smetana: vltava river has two sources-two forests that flow through the cold wind. Introduction to Smetana, one is cool and the other is gentle. The two streams merged into a torrent, rushing to pebbles, reflecting the sun and flowing into the distance. It flows through the forest and listens to the echo of the hunter's horn; Cross the fields and enjoy the harvest; From time to time, the joy of rural weddings came from both sides of the strait; The legendary narcissus dances and sings on the water in the moonlight; On the cliff in the wilderness and the ruins of the ancient city, it retains the memory of its past glory and merits, listening to its waves; Along St. John's Canyon, Walterwa rushed down and crashed into a rocky cliff, making a loud noise. Then the river flows to Prague, passing through the ancient castle of Vishchilad, showing all its magnificence and solemnity. Vltava river continued to roll forward, and finally merged with the huge current of the Elbe River and gradually disappeared in the distance.
In this paper, the principle of single theme is abandoned, and the image of vltava river, which symbolizes eternal youth and constant renewal of national spirit, is the basic theme of music. Through the continuous development of the plot, many life pictures interspersed among them are unified.
The slow tune of flute solo at the beginning of the music is "The First Source of vltava river". Flute has a bright and cold tone, no bass, no * * *, no introduction by Bedrich Smetana, only overtones and occasional decorative sounds of the harp, and plucked strings of the violin.
Then the flute theme leads to a warmer new melody played by clarinet, which is "the second source of vltava river".
