Spring flowers fly with frost, and he yearns for flowers without severe winter. The third section is about Xia Meng, where the spring sounds in the distance. The fourth part is about Qiu Meng who longs for happiness. The fifth part is about winter dreams. Men in the loess around the grave arch, endless fantasy. The five paragraphs of the whole poem describe a person's life, that is, life is like a dream. The poet is very indifferent to the fame and fortune in the world, and his heart yearns for another harmonious and quiet world. He is eager to have a good dream with great interest: the flowers are not in winter, the moonlight is scattered, the night bell of the mountain temple is ringing, the flowers are unintentional, and the bees are buzzing. Although the "endless dream" in his fantasy can only be found in the grave after death, we can still get a glimpse of the poet's pure inner world from these sad poems. The poet's persistent pursuit of dreams is itself a criticism and denial of the ugly and dark reality.
In this poem, in order to adapt to the twists and turns of inner feelings, Zhu Xiang adopted a corresponding poetic style in the modeling of the poem, which produced a unique aesthetic feeling in hearing and vision. As the famous writer Shen Congwen pointed out, On the one hand, The Collection of Grass Mang can represent the author's achievements in new poetry, and reach a high point that ordinary poets can't reach in the integrity of modeling and the softness of tone. The highest power of poetry, if we can't completely ignore the form of the same syllable, then all Zhu Xiang's experiments in the poems of The Grass Mang Collection are very successful. This poem has five sections, each with five elements; The five elements are all composed of four cross-shaped long sentences and a two-word short sentence, forming a neat and changeable form: "10, 10, 10,2,10".

Except for the short line of the word "dream bar", everything in the poem rhymes. The ending rhyme of each sentence is flat, which is also the form of "flat". For example, the first section is empty, same and dense, the second section is medium, red, frozen and winter, the third section is loose, ringing, moving and poor, the fourth section is diffuse, humming, sending and melting, and the fifth section is slippery, hazy and arched.
The chapters and lines of Dream not only have the formal beauty of neat changes in vision, but also have the musical beauty of ups and downs in hearing. As Professor Zhao, a close friend of the poet, said, "I have read the manuscript of the Collection of the Grass Mang. I'm so happy! I think such beautiful and gentle poems were rare in China poetry circles at that time. ..... I thought at that time, I have never seen a second person do such a beautiful poem, even Liu Dabai, who is good at using overlapping sentences, is not as good as it. " 〔( 10)〕
If in the first issue, the poet sang "truth" wholeheartedly, then in the second issue, he wrote "beauty" meaningfully and meticulously. In the process of describing beauty, he forms a sharp contrast with ugliness, sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly and sometimes gradually. No matter which method the poet adopts, the artistic effect is the same: the more beautiful the more beautiful, the uglier the uglier.
The Collection of Grass Mang is a symbol of the maturity of the poet's creation and the essence of his poetry. Although his poems are devoted to "the enthusiasm of youth, the sorrow of wanderers, the loneliness of cynicism, and philosophical thinking", they have failed to attract the attention of the poetry circle and the sensation of society. What is the reason? This is just as Professor Su pointed out: "But strangely, the art of The Collection of Grass Mang is not only far superior to the poetry collections of Kang, Yu Pingbo and Wang Jingzhi before and after the May 4th Movement, but also inferior to the famous Goddess by Guo Moruo in the new poetry world. It is quite surprising that the literary and art circles do not attach importance to this. Or the poet is not good at flaunting himself, so this is the case. " [( 1 1)] For a long time, due to well-known reasons, people are unwilling or afraid to uncover the mystery. In fact, Mr. Su solved the mystery as early as 1932 10.
