The author of Mulan Poetry is Guo Maoqian.

Guo Maoqian (1041-1099) was born in Yunzhou Program (now Dongping, Shandong). Laizhou was sentenced to be the grandson of the state power and the son of Dr. Guo Yuanming.

Born in the Guo family in Taiyuan. Influenced by poetic rites since childhood, he is familiar with temperament, good at seal cutting and brilliant, and has a strong interest in poetry. He is famous for compiling hundreds of Yuefu poems, which has attracted the attention of academic circles. Mulan poems and peacocks flying southeast in the book are called "Yuefu Shuangbi" by later generations.
