What do you mean by quatrains?

Quatrains, also known as truncated sentences, broken sentences, short sentences and quatrains, belong to a genre form of modern poetry.

The word "quatrains" first appeared in the Qi and Liang Dynasties in the Southern Dynasties. At this time, quatrains refer to small poems with five words and two rhymes, and do not require hierarchy and homophonic. Quatrains prevailed in the Tang Dynasty. The quatrains are composed of four sentences, which are divided into two parts: quatrains and ancient sentences, among which quatrains have strict metrical requirements. Common quatrains include five-character quatrains and seven-character quatrains.

The quatrains consist of four sentences. The last word of 65438 sentences rhymes with +0, 2 and 4, with five words in one sentence and seven words in seven sentences.
