Brief introduction of the author
Qin Guan (1049- 1 100): a poet of the Northern Song Dynasty, with the name Shao You and Tai Xu, was born in Gaoyou, Yangzhou (now Gaoyou, Jiangsu). He is a 36-year-old scholar. He used to be Professor Cai Zhou, Dr. imperial academy and editor of the National History Museum. In the struggle between the old and new parties, he died in Tengzhou for the last reason. Qin Guan, one of the "four sons of Su Men", is famous for his ci, which is appreciated by Su Shi. His poetic style is graceful and slender, soft and charming, and his mood is low and sad. He has always been regarded as one of the representative writers of the graceful school and has a great influence on later poets.
