A Brief Comment on "Slow Voice"

This word is the work of Li Qingzhao in her later years, which can be regarded as a summary of her life's suffering experience. Poets express their lonely and sad mood in autumn dusk through images such as evening breeze, returning geese, yellow flowers, phoenix tree and drizzle. The sadness written in the ci is based on the specific life of the country's ruin and death, and contains profound content, which is not the same as the general sad autumn works that groan without illness. Giving full play to the expressive force of temperament and tone is a prominent feature of this word. The first seven groups of overlapping words are divided into three levels: the poet's movement, external feelings and internal sorrow, which are progressive from the outside to the inside, and many cadence words are used. "Every word, every tear, is swallowed with teeth" (Liang Qichao's language). The choice and combination of the whole word pronunciation also shows obvious sense of depression, which has special musical effects and truly conveys the poet's melancholy and pain.
