-Chen Ziang is on the Youzhou Tower.
Chen Ziang was an important poet who advocated elegance and carried out stylistic reform in the early Tang Dynasty. His most famous work is Youzhou Tower. At that time, Chen Ziang signed the Khitan with Wu Youyi. Because Wu Youyi was unfamiliar with the military, her repeated remonstrances were not adopted, which led to repeated wars and defeats. He was very depressed. He remembered the past when Yan Zhaowang built a tall building and Huang Jintai recruited wise men. He felt that his talent was not satisfied and his ambition was hard to be rewarded (refer to the seven poems of Visiting Ancient Thistles), so he meditated on the past and wrote this poem:
No one can see the ancient wisdom of the ancient king, only those wise men who can't see the afterlife can see it. Only the boundless universe, boundless, can't stop the tears full of sadness.
Ordinary readers rarely know the "background of the times" of this poem, but after reading it, they are deeply moved. It can be seen that there must be something beyond the times, and it is the fundamental feature of real works of art that it is not limited by time and space. In fact, many times, when we find the "background of the times" of a work, we feel much less about it, because our universal interpretation of the "background of the times" limits people's aesthetic imagination beyond time and space.
In the sense of transcending time and space, You Zhou Tower has transcended the original meaning of nostalgia, but expressed a profound sense of tragedy, which revealed people's "awakening": when you are independent of the world and look directly at the truth of existence, you will suddenly find yourself in emptiness and fear, and you will ask yourself what your value and significance are! The "ancients" and "newcomers" seem unreliable, and the past and the future seem to be difficult to rely on. So, are people desperate in this predicament? No, individuals may have no hope, but a "leisurely" paradise is eternal. As long as you put your limited life into the infinite heaven, you will get eternity in the "leisurely" heaven. This is the same feature of mainstream culture in China, including Confucian culture and Taoist culture. Confucian culture emphasizes that individuals gain meaning by integrating into social collective, moral ontology and eternal heaven, while Taoist culture emphasizes that individuals gain meaning by integrating into natural ontology. Chen Ziang's You Zhou Tower coincides with the deep psychological structure of traditional culture and national culture. At the same time, the tower of Youzhou also shows the awakening road of China people. China people's "awakening" begins with their own value base. Only after experiencing "before me, where was the past era?" Behind me, where is the next generation? " Has people's awareness of "awakening" begun to sprout? The next "crying" is not sadness and grief, but the feeling after realizing the "carefree world"-the value foundation, and it is also an aesthetic recognition of the tragic truth of life. This feeling, compared with the people in the Six Dynasties, indicates the arrival of a new personality in the early Tang Dynasty. Compared with China people, it should arouse their inner feelings at any time. Every recitation will make people have an impulse and desire to think about value, explore value and establish value, and China people's sense of value is accumulated in these countless impulses and desires.
You Zhou Tower also shows the basic features of China's tragic consciousness. Generally speaking, compared with the western tragic consciousness, China's tragic consciousness not only focuses on exposing people's plight and painting a hopeless prospect for people, but also builds a bridge in exposing the plight and guides the way out when expressing despair. This basic feature of China's tragic consciousness is not only consistent with the thinking mode of harmony between man and nature in China culture, but also consistent with the traditional philosophy of persistence and transcendence, the unity of this shore and the other shore, and the unity of form and form. "Youzhou Tower" was first titled "Where is the era that passed before me? Behind me, are the future generations? " And then point out the way to integrate with "Youyou" and "Heaven", and the way to integrate with "Heaven" is to feel the "Heaven" in the real life plot or to feel the real life plot under the observation of "Heaven". In this way, the exposure and healing of life's dilemma are harmoniously unified in a short poem.
