Yongjia Siling refers to four poets in the mid-Southern Song Dynasty: Zhao Xu, Ji Xu, Weng Juan and Zhao Shixiu. These four poets are all from Yongjia, Zhejiang Province, and their poetry creation is mainly fresh, natural, elegant and quiet, showing a tendency in the poetry creation in the late Southern Song Dynasty.
Most of their poems take natural scenery as the theme, pay attention to expressing personal feelings, use concise and vivid words and have their own unique artistic style.
Zhao Xu's poems have a wide range of themes, Ji Xu's poems have far-reaching implications, Weng Juan's poems are bold and unrestrained, and Zhao Shixiu's poems are famous for their exquisiteness. The works of these four poets were not only highly respected at that time, but also had a far-reaching impact on the poetry creation of later generations.
