Su Causeway is "Su Gong Causeway". The ancients respected an old man with high moral prestige and talent as "Gong". This "Gong Su" was the great poet Su Shi. At the age of 36, he went to Hangzhou for the first time to be an official and wrote the famous poem "Drinking the First Sunny and Later Rain on the Lake".
