A brief introduction to the strangeness of Cen Can's frontier poems.

Cen Can's later work Fortress fully embodies Cen Can's artistic talent and curious personality. With his generous and heroic style and unique artistic techniques, he vividly shows the strange scenery and customs of the northwest desert. It has a magnificent beauty. In terms of artistic expression, Cen Can's frontier poems are innovative with reference to Gao Shi's seven-character quatrains, which are ups and downs and easy to roll. Formally close to Yuefu, but independent of Yuefu ancient topic. Rhyme is very flexible, basically from one rhyme to the end (such as Song of Snow White in Farewell to Tian Shuji Wu's Returning Home) to two rhymes (such as Song of Wheel Tower in Farewell to General Feng of the Western Expedition). "Song of Snow in Tianshan Mountain Sending Xiao Zhi to Beijing" describes the extremely cold snow scene, and the branches of pine trees suddenly appear at the end. Although it is an ingenious farewell, it has an exciting feeling, not only with strange meaning and language, but also with beautiful tunes.
