After the rain

Author: Bing Xin

The green treetops are shining with golden light,

The square has become an ocean!

A group of barefoot children are in the water,

Happy as a fairy.

Little brother stepped on the water hard,

How high is the splash?

He shouted: "Sister, be careful, slip!"

Said he slipped!

He patted his muddy pants,

He said, "Shit, shit!"

And his happy red face,

But it exudes excitement and pride.

My little sister has two short pigtails,

Follow these muddy pants closely,

She bit her lip,

Grab the skirt,

Run gently and carefully,

I wish I could.

What a beautiful fall!

Selected Poems of the Ferry

On the day when I had to leave, the sun appeared from the clouds.

The blue sky stares at the earth-a fairyland created by God.

My heart is sad because it doesn't know where the call comes from.

The whisper of the breeze comes from the world I left? The tearful song there disappeared into the cheerful silence.

Maybe the breeze brought the smell of the island? It lies in the warm embrace of exotic flowers and plants in summer on the distant sea.

The market broke up, and in the twilight, people set foot on their way home.

I sat on the side of the road and watched you swing on the boat.

Over the dark water, the sunset shines on your sail;

I saw your silent figure standing by the rudder. Suddenly, I saw your eyes staring at me.

I stopped singing. I call you and take me across the river.

The wind is blowing, and my poem boat is about to set sail.

Helmsman, hold the rudder steady.

My ship longs for freedom and dances with the rhythm of the wind and waves.

The day has passed, and now it's night.

All the friends on the shore have left.

Untie the anchor and we will sail under the starlight.

When I was leaving, the wind rustled and sang in a low voice.

Helmsman, hold the rudder steady.
