These faces appeared ghostly in the crowd.
Petals are in full bloom on the wet black branches.
2. "girl"
Trees grow on my palm.
The sap rose to my arm.
This tree is on my chest.
Downward growth
Branches grow from me like arms.
You are a tree.
Are you Moss?
You are a violet in the breeze.
You are a child-so tall.
All this is regarded as ignorance by the world.
3. The Dancer
Black eyes
Oh, my dream girl.
Dance of ivory
No one can dance like you.
Feet are so light
In the tent.
In the broken darkness
I can't find you.
By the well, among the women carrying water
I can't find you.
Your arms are like twigs under the bark.
Your face is like a shining river.
Your hand rests on my shoulder like a calamus.
Running water freezes into your fingers.
Your girlfriend is as white as a pebble at the bottom of the canyon.
Their music praises you—
No one can dance like you.
Feet are so light
