Prose Poetry in Grade Five: The Power of Shadow

I used to walk in the street in the early morning, watching the shadows of pedestrians in the sun so tall; I once enjoyed the shadow of geese returning to their nests at dusk and danced. How beautiful!

If there is the sun, accompanied by the sky, shadows will appear, so I say it is the mysterious smile of nature. I once heard a fairy tale about a fox who saw his huge shadow at sunset and thought he was the king of the forest and could defeat the lion. On the surface, he pretended as if nothing had happened, but in his heart, he was afraid to find the lion, and finally it was beaten out of the water by the lion. I was amused by the lion's stupidity, but after laughing, it left me with deep thinking: why does the lion think he is very tall? What power does the shadow have?

According to science books, shadow is a natural clock, but I think shadow is a gift from nature. The huge shadow at dusk makes people with inferiority feel more confident after seeing their own shadow, while arrogant people get rid of their arrogant habits after seeing the thin shadow at noon. Humble people will take him as their goal when they see a huge shadow, and proud people will become as great as the fox in the story when they see their huge shadow.

Shadow taught me to have goals, and shadow taught me to be confident. It seems that this shadow is really a good medicine for treating diseases.

Sometimes nature brings us not only pleasing beauty, but also thinking about life. ...
