Philippians 4: 6-7 Scripture Interpretation

Philippians 4: 6 "Do not worry about anything, but tell God everything you want through prayer, supplication and thanks. 」

(Note) "Worry" refers to self-centered, non-constructive anxiety, which is usually a sign of lack of confidence in the care and protection of God.

"Careless" doesn't mean that we don't care about and worry about our own affairs, family affairs, church affairs or God affairs (2 Cor. 1 1: 28), but we don't need to be responsible for or worry about all these things.

"Everything" includes all the big and small things in daily life.

"Prayer" refers to universal prayer.

"Prayer" refers to a specific and serious special request.

"Thank you" means that even if your prayers are not answered, you believe that you will be grateful. This is the highest expression of self-confidence.

(1) The reason for "joy" is "nothing to worry about"; The method of "carefree" is "pray and entrust". This rule is enough for us to enjoy and experience for a lifetime.

(2) Believers' worries are not only groundless, but also unnecessary, because worries are useless.

(3) since believers have a God who cares for us, they should not have the slightest worry; No matter how difficult our test is, how painful we are, and how difficult we are, we have no reason to worry.

(4) We have no burden that the Lord does not bear; Worry means that we don't believe in the Lord and refuse to entrust him with the burden.

(5) If there is no "hook" in our hearts, all our troubles will not be hung up, and we will have nothing to worry about.

(6) Worry, worry, suspicion and unbelief are the greatest weaknesses of Christians.

(7) Believers should not worry about anything, but pray for everything.

(8) It is our Christian privilege to pray to God; In good times and bad, we can tell God everything.

(9) We should bring "everything" to God! God thinks that we have nothing too insignificant to pray to him.

(10) Worry and prayer are the sources of two opposing forces in the daily life of believers.

(1 1) Prayer, prayer and gratitude are wonderful ways for believers to tell their troubles to God. Christians who pray for everything are carefree.

(12) If we can thank God for those things that worry us, it will relieve them of half the pressure.

(13) People who worry about the world cannot be happy; If you want to be happy, you must overcome all your troubles.

Philippians 4: 7 "God's unexpected peace will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 」

God's unexpected peace will protect your hearts in Christ Jesus. 」

Defend, protect, stand guard, guard (military terminology).

"Surprise" means that it is far beyond people's imagination and appreciation, and only those who have experienced it can understand it.

"Peace" refers to a kind of inner peace.

"Conservative" is a military term that describes the situation of guards standing guard.

(1) "God's peace ..." is in the deepest part of people, which is beyond the reach of external difficulties and turmoil, and is an unexplained and transcendental peace.

(2) God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and God's way is not our way (Isaiah 55: 8); God's love, care and behavior are far beyond our understanding. 3: 18~20).

(3) When believers release their worries to God through prayer, they can enjoy inner peace.

(4) Worry is that the enemy intrudes into our minds, makes waves in our minds, and then affects our hearts.

(5) The peace given by God is God's peace, that is, God's own peace; God's peace can protect our hearts like an army guarding a city, so that all worries can't cross the line.

(6) God does not protect our environment, nor does he leave our environment idle, but he makes our hearts peaceful.

(7) A calm person has no hook in his heart, and his troubles can't be hung up. Of course, he has no troubles.

(8) If we acknowledge that the Lord is the Lord who bears our burdens every day (Psalm 68 19), we will have unexpected peace in our hearts. This peace is enough to make our hearts no longer worry and rely on ourselves. Even if we want to worry, it is impossible.
