Brief introduction of Qingfeng building

Qingfeng Building is located in Xingtai City, Hebei Province.

According to the Records of Shunde Prefecture, the Qingfeng Tower was "built in the Tang and Song Dynasties" and was later destroyed due to the war.

in the third year of the Ming dynasty (ad 1467), Li guangheng, the magistrate of Shunde, spared no expense to rebuild it.

The rebuilt Qingfeng Building has a typical architectural style of Ming Dynasty, which is a double-eaved, mountain-resting structure, with a height of more than 7 feet, a masonry platform below and a arched cornice above.

Qingfeng Building is a provincial-level key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province, and it is the origin of Xingtai City. The county building has been one of the twelve scenic spots in Shunde since ancient times.

Qingfeng Building is divided into three floors.

The first floor is made of masonry, and there is an arched door in the middle, which can be used for both traffic and pedestrians, and it is also a good place to cool off in summer.

The second floor is surrounded by green bricks, with the main hall in the middle and the front and rear doors facing each other.

The wall in the southwest corner of the hall is inlaid with poems, paintings and stone carvings of four seasons in spring, summer, autumn and winter. It is said that it was made by Wang Wei, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, and it has certain historical and artistic value.

it's a pity that the spring scenery is lost, and now there are only three pieces in summer, autumn and winter.

There are also ten stone carvings inscribed on the Qingfeng Building, which are kept indoors.

The third floor is made of wood, with doors open on all sides. Under the eaves, there is a huge plaque with the words "Qingfeng Building", which was written by a prime minister in the Ming Dynasty, vigorous and carefully engraved by beautiful and elegant.

if you board it, stand on the highest floor and overlook it by the railing, there are many shops, the mountains in Taihang Mountain are green and the xing zhou is panoramic, so it is called "overlooking the county building" and it is one of the "Eight Scenes of Xingtai" in the old days.

Li Guangheng built this building for pleasure, "gathering guests to board it in his leisure time, digging four caves, and wandering in the distance", or dancing, writing poems and composing poems.

However, his political purpose is very clear, "entertaining", and he does not forget to be loyal to the monarch and serve the country. He strongly advertises: "The imperial style is pure and quiet, from the emperor's side, I will announce it first, and broadcast it in the octupole", and "I will protect my imperial map and make my work a rock".

The title of "Qingfeng Building" was thus obtained.

The Qingfeng Building, which now stands in the center of the city, has become a major cultural relic landscape in the urban area for visitors to browse and enjoy.
