A Night Abroad was written by Du Fu, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, on his journey after he left the Caotang in Chengdu, Sichuan in the first year of Yongtai, Tang Daizong (765). The poet's boundless night scenes set off a deep and stagnant sense of loneliness, which made people feel that the passion of the poet's life surged like a running river in his works, profoundly expressing the wandering sadness in the author's heart. It is a classic in Du Fu's poems. It is also a famous work of Du Fu's Five Laws, which has always been praised.
