Li Bai, who is half of the Tang Dynasty with his embroidered mouth, has achieved great fame in the Chinese poetry circle. As a poet, he not only has many amazing works, but also is a model for literati in the past dynasties. Anyone who has read his poems will know that Li Bai does not pursue strict rhythm like Du Fu. Sometimes his poems are out of tune. But this does not affect its popularity and influence. Instead, it has become Li Bai's classic work.
The reason why Li Bai came out with the law is also related to his own experience. Li Bai was a Kazakh, and later he entered Sichuan and grew up for a long time before finally entering the capital. Although Chinese poetry is generally similar, there are still subtle differences in each region. The poetry in remote places is still somewhat different from that in the capital. The metrical culture that has been relatively popular in Chang'an may not be popular in Sichuan and other places. Therefore, Li Bai's education was actually relatively conservative, and his poetry style was also relatively old-fashioned. Yuefu poetry, as an old rhythm, was very popular with Li Bai. His achievements in this were very high, but the seven-character rhyme poetry was completely inferior to Du Fu and others. Therefore, many people in the court believed that Li Bai had a bold personality but his poems were old-fashioned. In addition, this is also related to Li Bai's character. He himself is relatively bold and free-spirited, naturally not as rigorous as Du Fu, and does not want to stick to format and rhythm.
The Tang Dynasty had a prosperous national power, a stable society, magnificent poetry, and a strong tendency to unify the country. Therefore, there has also been progress in meter, but it is just a set of tools to help people avoid speech problems, not a rule that must be followed. Some of Li Bai's poems are out of rhythm, but there is nothing major wrong with them, and the out-of-rhythm is not a fault. In his poems, the emotional expression is very surging, the artistic conception is romantic and brilliant, the thoughts are bold and free, and the style is fresh and elegant, which directly surpasses the poets of the same period. Such works are indeed great works and deserve to be flaunted and appreciated.
So even if Li Bai's poems are a little out of tune, it does not affect the ideological level of the work itself. We have to admit that Li Bai is really talented.
