1. Fan Chengda of the Song Dynasty's "Four Seasons Pastoral Excitement·Twenty-Five"

The plums are golden, the apricots are fat, and the wheat flowers, snow and cabbage flowers are sparse.

No one passes by the fence during the long day, only dragonflies and butterflies fly.

Translation: In early summer, golden plums hang on the branches, apricots become bright and plump, wheat ears are blooming with white flowers in the fields, and rapeseed flowers are almost gone and are forming seeds. The days are getting longer, everyone is busy in the fields, no one passes by the fence, only dragonflies and butterflies fly around the fence.

2. "April in the Village" by Weng Juan of the Song Dynasty

The mountains are green and the rivers are white, and the rain is like smoke amid the sound of the rules.

In April in the countryside, there are few idle people, so they are planting sericulture and planting fields.

Translation: In early summer, the mountainous plains in the south of the Yangtze River are green and green everywhere, and the flowing water of the river reflects the sky and makes it look white. In the mist-like drizzle, the cuckoo bird chirped from time to time, urging the farming work. April is the busiest time in the countryside. The sericulture work has just ended and it is time to transplant rice seedlings.

5. "Zhuli Pavilion" by Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty

Sitting alone in the secluded bamboo, playing the piano and whistling loudly.

People in the deep forest don’t know that the bright moon comes to shine.

Translation: Sitting alone in the quiet bamboo forest, playing the piano and singing loudly. No one knows about it in the deep mountain forest, only a bright moon quietly accompanies me.
