Both poems describe the quiet night scene and the beautiful moonlight. Ye Saining's Night describes the real scene in front of him and conveys the poet's love for nature and his comfortable and quiet mind. Silent Night by Guo Moruo turned into an imaginary world on the basis of scenery description, which triggered the poet's reverie of myths and legends.
