The total area of the city is 22,500 square kilometers.
Within 300 kilometers around Shuangyashan, there are six first-class ports to Russia, including Raohe, Suibin, Luobei, Tongjiang, Fuyuan and Fujin. Located in the core area of Heilongjiang Province's opening to the Russian Far East, it is an important node city in the construction of the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor".
Shuangyashan has a beautiful legend:
According to legend, the ancient heavenly palace was overcrowded, but the world was sparsely populated. Many immortals came to the world in search of a land where immortals lived. As the saying goes, "Phoenix is not a phoenix tree but it doesn't live". Of course, birds in the sky are not treasures. The crane that came to the lower bound flew down Hegang and stopped in Jixi.
Tianya couple flew all the way to Anbang River, where there were lush vegetation, blooming flowers, flowing water and abundant fish and shrimp. This is really a treasure. The ecstatic Tianya couple happily forgot to return to the Heavenly Palace, settled here and lived happily. Many years later, people who came here one after another found that the place where the two god ducks were lying was a pair of mountains shaped like ducks, so people called this place Shuangyashan.
