From the perspective of poetry geography, Xinjiang sung by Shen Wei, Qinghai in Chang Yao's poems and Yunnan in his works are all landmark writing practices in China's contemporary poetry territory. Their exploration, often through personal observation and understanding, makes the special regional and daily existence closely linked, showing a valuable heterogeneity.
Shen Wei is a contemporary poet, and his creative achievements in the past twenty years can not be ignored. The main reason is the richness of his poetry creation, which is not particularly common among contemporary poets.
The richness of Shen Wei's poems is first reflected in the theme and theme. Some of his works belong to impromptu situational poems or situational poems, such as "Woman on the Balcony" and "Coming Home Late", which are completely poetic descriptions of the poet's own experience and daily life, and have a strong sense of reality and situation. Sometimes based on historical figures and deeds, such as Princess Xijun, the overall theme is metaphysics.
