In China, the Tang Dynasty can be said to be the most prosperous era of poetry development. Many great poets and outstanding works pushed the culture and art of the Tang Dynasty to its peak. Today, there are as many as 3,700 authors of Tang poetry who can be tested, with more than 50,000 works. This is only part of it, which shows how prosperous Tang poetry should be.

In the early Tang Dynasty, Yang Jiong, Lu and Luo were the representatives, and they were also called "four outstanding men in the early Tang Dynasty". Their appearance expanded the scope of Tang poetry. Whether writing frontier fortress or farewell, there is a grand and open mind. In the late Tang Dynasty, two important poets appeared, namely He Zhang. What Chen Ziang advocates is a kind of sustenance, and his 38 kinds of "feelings" are testimony. However, one of the best poems he wrote in his life was Poems on Youzhou Tower: "Before me, where was the past era?" Behind me, where are the future generations? . I think of heaven and earth, with no limit and no end, but it is lonely. "Write a sad story. Zhang's "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" is euphemistic and implicit, with beautiful artistic conception. The appearance of He Zhang marks the maturity of Tang poetry.

The development of Tang poetry was in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. At that time, Wang Wei and Meng Haoran seemed to be good at expressing the pastoral beauty of mountains and rivers, just like Wei's Mid-Autumn Insect, "After a new rain, it stood in late autumn. The bright moon shed clear light from the cracks and cleared the fountain on the rocks. Oceane zhu belongs to ten thousand girls, and the lotus leaf gave in before the fishing boat. My friend's prince, what does it matter if spring is over and you are still here? The night in the mountain village is picturesque, and Wang Wei shows the fusion of poetry and painting. However, some of his poems are impassioned, and some of them show human feelings. Many of Meng Haoran's poems are basically based on extremely frugal words, expressing heavy realm and feelings. Chang Jian and others in this period had similar writing styles. At this time, the most common Tang poems are poems describing frontier life. Cen Can is a typical representative.

The poet who represents the highest achievement of Tang poetry is the great poet Li Bai. Li Bai is a poet who thinks that his personality is heroic and his feelings are unrestrained. His poems are full of the confidence and ambition of the literati in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Li Baisheng was in the heyday of the Tang Dynasty, but he saw the decline of the Tang Dynasty with his own eyes, so his poems were completely different. There is a feeling in his poems that "poetry is not as good as a glass of water in the north window". Moreover, his poems imagine Meggie and often think of unexpected things. "Difficult Road to Shu" and "Dream of Climbing Mount Tianmu" are all such examples. In imagination, his poems have exaggerated elements, just like when he wrote about the Yellow River, "The Yellow River fell to the East China Sea, and Wan Li wrote about people's hearts." Wait a minute.

Du Fu is also an outstanding representative of poets in the Tang Dynasty. He was called "Poet Saint" by later generations. Representative works include Northern Expedition, Three Officials and Three Farewells. This shows that the poet's talent is not satisfied, and he still cares about people's lives. No poet in Tang Dynasty reflected the history of An Shi Rebellion as profoundly and extensively as he did, so his poems are also called "the history of poetry". In order to write about current events and the lives of the people at the bottom, narrative and description are used in writing, and the narrative is lyrical. For example, Hope in Spring is a typical example. Sometimes, in order to make an event more perfect, he will write poems. Writing things with poetry is Du Fu's creation.

In the middle Tang dynasty, the development of poetry was diversified, and different schools of art appeared. The important representatives are Han Yu and Meng Jiao. They pursue strange beauty, attach importance to subjectivity and often break the boundaries of poetry. Among them, more poets were born in this period, including great patriotic poets such as Bai Juyi and Li He. In the late Tang Dynasty, a large number of poems were sung, among which Du Mu and Xu Hun were the representatives. The highest artistic achievement in the late Tang Dynasty was Li Shangyin. Together with Du Mu, he was called "Little Du Li". Their artistic skills reached a fascinating level, which greatly expanded the emotional capacity of poetry and made a final contribution to the development of Tang poetry.
