What does "sesame" mean?

Distributing sesame seeds on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year is an essential ceremony for every household.

When sesame seeds were first released, a pile of sesame stalks was placed on the sacrificial table, and yellow paper (paper money) was placed on the sesame stalks. Sesame stalk is easy to ignite and has combustion-supporting effect. When they burn, they crack like firecrackers. And sesame has a good moral: sesame blossoms are getting higher and higher.
