The cursive writing of this line

There are many ways to write cursive lines. The following are the common methods of writing lines:

1. Draw a horizontal line first, from left to right.

2. In the middle of the horizontal line, draw a small vertical line downward.

3. On the right side of the small vertical line, draw a big tick to the right, similar to an inverted "L".

4. Draw a small vertical line under the hook.

Finally, on the right side of the small vertical line, draw a small tick to the right, similar to a "J".

The feature of this writing is that the lower part of the line looks like a big hook and the upper part looks like a small hook, so the overall shape is relatively smooth. Of course, cursive writing varies from person to person and can be changed according to personal habits and styles.

Line, the first-class word in Chinese, is pronounced as háng, háng, héng, xíng or xìng. It was first seen in Oracle Bone Inscriptions, originally meant as a crossroads, and later extended to the order of straight row, institutions, brothers and sisters. Shuo Wen Jie Zi holds that people walk or trot on the road.

The origin of cursive script

There are many explanations about the origin of cursive script, and none of them can be accurate to the specific time point. There is a view that cursive script originated in the Warring States period. When Chu Huaiwang made Qu Yuan's constitutional order, the draft was not published, and Shangguan Shi saw it and wanted to take it away, so there was the origin of cursive script. Another point of view is that cursive script originated from the official script of Han Dynasty, and after continuous development and evolution, it gradually formed different calligraphy styles, such as Cao Zhang, near-body cursive, running cursive and crazy cursive.

Specifically, Cao Zhang evolved from official script, and now grass evolved from Cao Zhang, and running grass evolved from present grass. In the development of modern grass, there are two main views on its specific origin. One view is that this kind of grass originated from Zhang Zhi in the late Han Dynasty, when calligraphy was already fluent, not limited to the rules; Another view is that this grass originated from Wang Xizhi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
