Babaili Qinchuan
As the ancients said, knowledge can be vivid only by reading thousands of books and taking Wan Li Road, supplemented by reading. Last week, I went to Shaanxi, although I was in a hurry, but everywhere I went, place names and historical sites that fit the history books appeared in front of me, and my thoughts crossed the long river of history, which inevitably evoked nostalgia for the past.
There are Banpo ruins and Huangdi Mausoleum in Shaanxi, which is the birthplace of China's humanities. Qinling Mountains and Huaihe River are the geographical dividing lines between north and south of China. North of Qinling Mountains and south of the Great Wall, it was called Guanzhong in ancient times. There are Hangu Pass in the east, Xiaoguan Pass in the west, Big Three Pass and Five Pass in the south, Jinsuo Pass Pass and Qinguan Pass in the north, and Qinchuan Plain in the meantime. Locals call it "800 Li Qinchuan", a title full of high morale.
From Xi 'an to the north, across the Hukou of the Yellow River, and then to Yan 'an, the altitude is getting higher and higher, and at the foot is the Loess Plateau, the thickest loess place on earth. Unexpectedly, four or five hundred kilometers along the way, I couldn't see a piece of loess, and my eyes were all green. The imaginary desolation is hidden under the continuous vegetation, which makes people feel a little ordinary and monotonous. Everyone in the same trade is sleepy, but I am not tired at all. I stared out of the window, looked at the valley, and looked at the ancient road that occasionally appeared and quickly disappeared from sight. I haven't spoken for hours, and my mind is full of historical clouds.
There are screen movies introducing archaeological excavations in the Terracotta Warriors Exhibition Hall. The war scene is presented in a 360-degree picture, and it feels like being in the midst of Jin Ge Iron Horse and chariot soldiers. Teams of Qin Jun dust blow in your face, passing by, giving people a strong shock. Qinchuan, 800 miles away, is the real stage of that scene. Dust accumulated for more than 2,000 years has been swept away. This unknown ancient mountain road in front of us may be able to find Qin Jun's footprints and conquer the ruts of the six countries in Hanguguan in the east. Along the way, the historical facts and figures of the disputes between Qin and the Six Kingdoms and Chu and Han in ancient books appeared alternately in front of my eyes, as if crossing time and space between fantasy and reality.
Xi 'an and Lintong are large loess platforms with low-lying uplift, which are called "primary" locally. Leyuan Scenic Area and Bailuyuan are both famous, appearing in the writings of ancient and modern literati. To the north, the highway enters the old road of the Yellow River, with an open valley on one side and a cliff dozens of feet high on the other. The rocks on the cliff have distinct layers and no edges and corners on the surface, which is the trace of the Yellow River scouring. From Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River to Yan 'an, the highway spirals up along the loess high slope, and after reaching the top of the mountain, it suddenly becomes clear. The huge loess plateau is covered with trees and crops, and houses and caves are scattered all over the place. Looking down from the top of the mountain, there are deep ditches and huge valleys, which is the vastness and magnificence of the loess plateau.
In Yan 'an, I saw an Ansai waist drum. The dancers are middle-aged men with white towels on their heads and bandages around their waists. They danced with the drums, their movements and expressions were exaggerated, and they felt rough. I've never heard of Qin opera, which is famous for its roar. Shaanxi folk songs must have the shadow of Shaanxi opera. When men sing, their voices are fierce and they sing long and high. After listening, there was a lingering sound. Po, the original ecological singer who became popular recently, sang folk songs in northern Shaanxi. Although he is not from Shaanxi, he was born in Shanxi across the Yellow River.
In a few days, I have been trying to find out some regional characteristics, and even expect to find some connections with Qin people from the Shaanxi people I met. Unfortunately, time is too short to have a chance. The only one who has more contact is the tour guide, an authentic Shaanxi young man with thick eyebrows, flat head and dark skin. He doesn't see any literati temperament. Wherever he goes, he introduces the history of Qin and Han Dynasties and prospers in the Tang Dynasty, but he is a few treasures. Ancient and modern famous sentences can come out freely without boring tour guide words, which makes me feel a little surprised. There is no other explanation, maybe it can only be attributed to Xi 'an's profound cultural background.
At present, Xi 'an has a complete city wall, city gate, bell tower and drum tower, but there are many high-rise buildings, which can't hide the modern atmosphere. As the city with the longest capital in history, I still hope that it will retain more human history. I hope that the wind of the prosperous Tang Dynasty in Qin and Han dynasties will not die out, and Qinchuan will continue the long-term pulse of the Chinese nation for 800 miles.
