Introduction of Wang Mianzhi's Lecture Notes on Prescription Science

Lectures on Wang Mianzhi's Prescription is a book based on the recording of Mr. Wang Mianzhi's speech in the National Prescription Teacher Training Class of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in the early 1980s. The first chapter (two chapters) of the book mainly tells the formation and development of prescription science and the general theory of prescription science. The second part is divided into seventeen chapters: exterior-relieving agent, purgative agent, blending agent, heat-clearing agent, summer-heat relieving agent, interior-warming agent, tonic agent, qi-regulating agent, blood-regulating agent, wind-dispelling agent, moistening agent, dampness-removing agent, expectorant agent, digestion-promoting agent, insect repellent, carbuncle-eliminating agent and emetic agent, and the commonly used prescriptions are comprehensively discussed.
