Why do four kinds of medical books such as Fifty-two Prescriptions for Diseases unearthed in Mawangdui 14 are a very important support for the theoretical medical practice foundation of Neijing?

Once upon a time, both medical historians and Chinese medicine practitioners believed that Neijing was the earliest existing medical work in China. Because of its high achievements in 14 medical books unearthed in Mawangdui, such as prescriptions for 52 diseases, people doubt whether it is possible to summarize these theories on the basis of it. In other words, whether there is enough disease knowledge and a lot of medical practice experience before Neijing is the basis of this theory. Some people even took this as a basis to postpone the production of Neijing to the Western Han Dynasty, the Eastern Han Dynasty or even later. 1973 After Mawangdui's medical books were unearthed from Mawangdui No.3 Han Tomb in Changsha, Hunan Province, scholars at home and abroad generally believed that the writing time of the medical experience prescriptions such as Fifty-two Diseases Syndrome was before Neijing. Although people still have different opinions on the completion time of this book, Fifty-two Treatments for Diseases did come into being before this book. From the contact point of view, this book is not necessarily written before Neijing, but at least it is a very important and powerful support for the medical practice foundation of Neijing theory.
