Has the "national team" to save endangered minority languages really joined?

On the morning of February 7th, 65438, China National Museum received a special donation-150 volumes of Dongba Scripture of Naxi nationality in Lijiang. Dongba is the only living "hieroglyph" in the world. Dongba ancient books and documents were listed in the World Memory Heritage List by UNESCO in August 2003.

Lu, director of the National Museum, said at the donation ceremony that because hieroglyphics are mainly ideograms, Dongba ancient books have a large number of oral components in their inheritance, so this is also a huge memory project. These Dongba Scriptures will become indispensable and precious materials for studying the ancient Naxi nationality and even the ancient southwest nationality.

However, under the background of globalization, the languages and cultures of ethnic minorities are under increasing impact. There are 7 languages in China, population 100. There are 15 species with populations ranging from 100 to 1000. Some languages have died out, such as Manchu, Yi, Mulao and Hakka. There are also some languages, such as Aron and Hezhe, which only a few old people speak well now. Nowadays, both the government and the people have taken action to save those endangered languages.
